Lead Supply Chain Strategist

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Lead Supply Chain Strategist is essential in providing top-tier service to Wella markets by orchestrating production capabilities and sourcing materials for our manufacturing facilities.

As a member of the Global Supply Chain Planning Team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely product delivery to Wella's clientele. Our team collaborates across various functions, influencing optimal decisions regarding service, cost, cash flow, and innovation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee line planning and scheduling of production for your designated portfolio, considering current inventory and availability across multiple markets.
  • Procure materials and components from suppliers to meet production plan requirements.
  • Collaborate within a multifunctional planning team on new product introductions and phase-in/phase-out strategies.
  • Direct short and mid-term capacity planning for your production line.
  • Assist in establishing supply chain configurations for your portfolio, including safety stock and planning parameters within the SAP ERP system.
  • Contribute to inventory management and cost optimization for your portfolio.
  • Manage the setup of planning parameters and conduct regular master data audits.
  • Lead a business process to define and standardize best practices within your team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A university degree or a minimum of one year of relevant experience in any Supply Chain domain.
  • A sense of ownership, autonomy, and accountability for results within your scope of work.
  • A growth mindset focused on solutions, improvements, and continuous learning.
  • Strong prioritization skills and effective work organization in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Resilience to frequent changes within the supply chain.
  • Quick thinking and adaptability to adjust plans and actions based on evolving circumstances.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively towards common goals.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and presenting findings to support decision-making processes.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • (Preferred) Practical experience with SAP ECC software.
