ABOUT THE POSITION

The Lead Supply Chain Strategist is tasked with ensuring exceptional service delivery to Wella markets by effectively managing production capacities and procuring materials for our manufacturing facilities.

As a member of the Global Supply Chain Planning Team, you will play a pivotal role in the timely delivery of products to Wella customers. This position requires collaboration across various functions and the ability to influence decisions that optimize service, cost, cash flow, and innovation. We are committed to continuously improving our processes and thrive in a diverse, multicultural environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee line planning and scheduling of production for your assigned portfolio, considering current inventory and availability across multiple markets.
  • Procure materials and components from suppliers to meet production plan requirements.
  • Participate in a cross-functional planning team focused on new product introductions and phase-in/phase-out strategies.
  • Lead short- and mid-term capacity planning for your production line.
  • Contribute to the supply chain setup for your portfolio, including safety stock establishment and planning parameters in the SAP ERP system.
  • Assist in inventory and cost management for your portfolio.
  • Manage the setup of planning parameters and conduct regular master data audits.
  • Take ownership of a business process to define and standardize best practices within your team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of one year of relevant experience in any area of Supply Chain.
  • Demonstrated ownership, autonomy, and accountability for results within the defined scope.
  • A growth mindset focused on solutions, improvements, and continuous learning.
  • Strong prioritization skills and effective work organization in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Resilience in adapting to frequent changes within the supply chain.
  • Ability to think critically and adjust plans and actions based on evolving circumstances.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate as part of a team towards shared objectives.
  • Proficient in data analysis and presenting findings to drive decision-making.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Practical knowledge of SAP ECC software is a plus.
