Lead Supply Chain Strategist

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Lead Supply Chain Strategist is tasked with ensuring exceptional service delivery to Wella markets by effectively managing production capacities and procuring necessary materials for our manufacturing facilities.

As a member of the Global Supply Chain Planning Team, you will play a pivotal role in the timely delivery of products to Wella customers. This position requires collaboration across various functions to make informed decisions regarding service levels, costs, cash flow, and innovation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the planning and scheduling of production lines for your designated portfolio, taking into account current inventory and availability across multiple markets.
  • Procure materials and components from suppliers to meet production requirements.
  • Collaborate with a multifunctional planning team on new product introductions and the management of product lifecycle transitions.
  • Lead short- and mid-term capacity planning for your production lines.
  • Assist in establishing supply chain configurations for your portfolio, including safety stock levels and planning parameters within the SAP ERP system.
  • Contribute to inventory management and cost control for your portfolio.
  • Manage the setup of planning parameters and conduct regular audits of master data.
  • Take ownership of specific business processes to define and standardize best practices within your team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A university degree or a minimum of one year of relevant experience in any area of Supply Chain.
  • A strong sense of ownership, autonomy, and accountability for results within your scope of work.
  • A growth-oriented mindset focused on solutions, improvements, and continuous learning.
  • Effective prioritization skills and the ability to organize work efficiently in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Resilience in adapting to frequent changes within the supply chain.
  • Quick analytical thinking and the ability to adjust plans and actions based on evolving circumstances.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively towards shared objectives.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the capability to present findings to support decision-making processes.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC software is advantageous.
