POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate plays a vital role in assisting Management to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment, where our core values and guiding principles are integral to all store operations. This includes ensuring an exceptional customer experience and optimizing profitability. We take pride in our work and believe that our teams create an outstanding workplace for learning and growth.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive for Results:

Achieve company sales targets by employing effective sales techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; suggest merchandise options or assist in locating items based on customer preferences.

Stay informed about current promotions and sales; uphold pricing and visual presentation standards.

Adhere to standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other tasks as directed by Management.

Engage in visual merchandising tasks, including monthly store setups and maintaining designated areas.

Customer Experience:

Exemplify and advocate for the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.

Promptly address customer inquiries and concerns.

Facilitate a quick and efficient checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about policies related to payments, coupon usage, returns, exchanges, security measures, and other operational procedures.

Encourage purchasing decisions at the register and meet add-on sales goals, including gift card promotions.

Enroll clients in the rewards program.

Develop and maintain a strong customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.

Stay updated on current product offerings and styles available in-store and online.

Maintain consistent communication with clients through a customer book.

Operational Excellence:

Assist in replenishment efforts to ensure the store remains well-stocked and inviting.

Support locate fulfillment tasks.

Contribute to visual merchandising efforts, including floor setups, window displays, signage placement, and more as instructed.

Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the boutique.

Teamwork and Growth:

Encourage an inclusive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Pursue personal development opportunities and actively seek feedback.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred experience in retail or sales.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Strong communication skills.

Exceptional customer service abilities.

Able to learn and adapt to technology provided by the company.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, and management.

Regular attendance is crucial for this role to ensure adequate coverage for company objectives. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constant walking/standing for a percentage of an 8-hour shift.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. for 1-33% of an 8-hour shift.

Frequent climbing for 34%-66% of an 8-hour shift.
