POSITION SUMMARY
The primary role of the Retail Sales Representative is to enhance sales by consistently delivering world-class customer service, aligning with our mission of being "the most helpful hardware stores on the planet."

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prioritize customer needs over tasks.
  • Stay informed about all promotions and advertisements, sharing this information with customers.
  • Achieve daily operational goals and priorities set by store management.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and its applications.
  • Demonstrate merchandising skills and capabilities.
  • Identify merchandising challenges, stock discrepancies, pricing issues, labeling, and signage concerns within your area of responsibility and notify management accordingly.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
High School diploma or GED equivalent; we are willing to train high school students.
Must possess a strong desire to learn.

EXPERIENCE:
Building relationships and engaging with customers is essential.
Trade skills combined with a personality that aligns with our Core Values and mission are advantageous, but training is available.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
Familiarity with retail computer systems is a plus.
A solid team player with excellent interpersonal abilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate business needs.
