Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and innovative Seasonal Utility Players for our clinics who embody our core values: Passion, Humility, Adaptability, Nurture, and Experience. These professionals, typically Certified Medical Assistants and Licensed Vocational Nurses, exemplify teamwork and collaboration. The Utility Player role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities crucial for the smooth operation of our clinics.

The Utility Player is a versatile role, responsible for various tasks including front desk operations, patient triage, radiology support, and more. Above all, Utility Players are compassionate, humble, and committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Work Environment and Team Dynamics

Our clinicians are supported by a dedicated Clinical Operations team that collaborates closely with clinic staff on various operational aspects. Primary Responsibilities

  • Triage patients upon arrival, ensuring timely care.
  • Communicate patient readiness to providers, summarizing symptoms and vital signs.
  • Document patient visits accurately in the EMR system.
  • Assist providers with procedures and patient care, including vaccinations and lab work.
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam and treatment rooms.
  • Coordinate lab work and communicate results to patients.
  • Provide patient education and address follow-up inquiries.
  • Handle front office tasks such as patient registration and insurance verification.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Genuine passion for pediatric care.
  • Experience in a pediatric office, hospital, or urgent care setting within the last three years, with a minimum of six months of experience.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA).
  • Current LVN license in Texas.
  • BLS certification required (online renewal accepted).
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, clinical procedures, and EMR software.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
