Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Key Duties:
The specialist will be responsible for:

  • Preparing for patient visits by ensuring schedules, test results, and clinic-specific requirements are ready.
  • Rooming patients, documenting vital signs, medication lists, allergies, and other necessary information.
  • Conducting tests such as hearing and vision assessments, EKGs, spirometry, and point-of-care testing as required.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinic supplies.
  • Coordinating follow-up appointments and managing clerical tasks including photocopying and faxing.
  • Handling telephone communications and in-person patient screenings with appropriate follow-up.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program is preferred.
  • A minimum of six months of relevant experience or completion of an approved Medical Assistant Training Program.
