Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and innovative Seasonal Utility Players for our team who embody our core values: Passion, Humility, Adaptability, Nurture, and Experience. These roles are typically filled by Certified Medical Assistants and Licensed Vocational Nurses who exemplify teamwork. Our core values guide our actions and decisions.

The term Utility Player signifies a versatile clinician responsible for various essential tasks, including front desk operations, patient registration, back-office care, triaging, radiology, and laboratory duties. Above all, Utility Players are compassionate, humble, and passionate about providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Triage patients upon arrival and communicate readiness to the provider.
  • Document patient visits and summarize findings in the EMR system.
  • Assist providers with procedures and patient care tasks such as vaccinations and lab work.
  • Prepare and maintain examination and treatment areas.
  • Obtain lab results and provide follow-up communication to patients.
  • Educate patients at the conclusion of their visit and address any questions.
  • Perform front office duties, including insurance verification and patient registration.
  • Complete any additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Genuine passion for working with children.
  • Experience in a pediatric office, hospital, or urgent care setting within the last three years, with a minimum of six months in a relevant role.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA).
  • Current LVN license in Texas.
  • BLS certification (online renewal accepted).
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, clinical procedures, and EMR software.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
