About the Role
New Relic is seeking a seasoned Deal & Pricing Manager to join our Deal Strategy Team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in driving executive decisions that impact our long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee commercial terms and non-standard approvals to ensure alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Execute deal structuring practices and policies to accelerate growth, improve sales velocity, and ensure fair value for New Relic and customers.
- Act as senior escalation point and approval authority in commercial negotiations for Enterprise and Strategic accounts.
- Advise and lead change management initiatives to simplify processes throughout the sales organization and improve efficiency and fiscal responsibility.
- Support the implementation and tracking of Sales productivity, planning, and reporting efforts for respective deals and deal metrics.
- Provide financial modeling and analysis to support decision-making and business impact.
- Ensure pricing consistency, complex deal design accuracy, and drive winning strategies as an individual contributor.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in pricing or deal strategy.
- Related BA/BS degree.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- High proficiency with Excel and BI tools.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to critically discuss content both internally and externally.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong working understanding of pricing principles and economics.
