The successful candidate will be responsible for structuring and negotiating large and strategic transactions, drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, and providing expert advice on intellectual property, privacy, cybersecurity, and technology-related matters.

The role will involve working closely with client teams and senior business leaders, and will require excellent legal and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Structure, draft, negotiate, and manage legal aspects of large and strategic transactions.
  • Negotiate and draft services agreements, outsourcing agreements, SLAs, software licenses, alliance agreements, and other commercial agreements.
  • Provide expert advice on complex legal issues involving intellectual property, privacy, cybersecurity, and technology.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally with a combination of law firm training and at least one in-house role.
  • Demonstrated experience with contract drafting and legal negotiation of large technology-related transactions.
  • Strong familiarity with drafting and negotiating complex intellectual property, licensing, warranty, indemnity, and liability clauses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, and to effectively communicate legal issues and policies to senior management.
