Job Title: Recovery Housing Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Recovery Housing Coordinator to join our team at Empowered for Excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our recovery housing program, ensuring the highest level of care and support for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between Empowered for Excellence and community organizations, fostering relationships and facilitating communication.
  • Represent the agency at external and internal events, promoting our mission and values.
  • Assist the Director of Recovery Housing in preparing reports, projects, and presentations as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with management, residents, and external stakeholders, resolving issues and providing support.
  • Supervise Resident Advisors and Peer Recovery Coaches, ensuring staff are trained and equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Screen, orient, and search potential residents, completing the move-in process efficiently.
  • Complete special reports, checking records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Carry out agency policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Represent Empowered for Excellence on various committees, as assigned by the Director of Recovery Housing.
  • Ensure compliance with facilities-related accreditation issues, such as environment of care.
  • Train and supervise housing staff, ensuring appropriate coverage and communication across shifts.
  • Participate in the interviewing and hiring of housing staff and Peer Support Specialists.
  • Review and approve staff time cards, leave requests, and other documentation as required.
  • Ensure the safety, security, and efficiency of the facility at all times, conducting contraband searches as needed.
  • Facilitate weekly staff/house meetings, promoting teamwork and open communication.

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of substance abuse and mental health programming and housing.
  • CDCA license required/preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized scheduling systems.
