The Director of IT plays a pivotal role in shaping the technological framework of Team Recovery Ohio LLC. This position is tasked with steering the organization's IT vision and ensuring the seamless operation of technology systems that underpin the delivery of exceptional care to individuals facing behavioral health challenges and addiction recovery. Key responsibilities include managing IT personnel, supervising technology initiatives, safeguarding IT security and compliance, and partnering with internal teams to harness technology for enhanced client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute the IT strategy in alignment with the organization’s mission and objectives.
  • Lead and mentor an IT team responsible for network management, systems administration, technical support, and software development.
  • Educate staff on effective utilization of IT systems and tools to boost productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the deployment and upkeep of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant healthcare software.
  • Document IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting protocols for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure the protection and confidentiality of patient health information in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess technology needs and identify opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement IT solutions that improve the delivery of behavioral health and addiction recovery services.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contracts to maximize technology investments.
  • Develop and uphold disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to ensure consistent IT operations.
  • Stay informed about technology trends and best practices in healthcare IT to foster innovation and efficiency.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership regarding IT performance, ongoing projects, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred. Candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of management experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health environments is preferred, along with a solid understanding of group therapy principles and techniques. Experience with EHR systems, particularly Carelogic, is a plus.
