Job Summary

CareNow is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant with X-Ray License to join our team as a Clinical Support Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our medical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various clinical duties in support of providers and nursing staff, including taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens, and EKGs.
  • Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as directed, and prepare, maintain, and clean exam rooms.
  • Check patients in and out of the computer and assist the patient representative with front desk duties.
  • Maintain records and logs on activities, including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
  • Perform equipment and supply audits as scheduled.
  • Work closely with the center manager, medical staff, front desk coordinator, and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school graduate as required by the state.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic services required.
  • Limited medical radiology technician (LMRT) license in the state of residency.
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
  • Ability to obtain a BLS certification within 30 days of start.
  • Must obtain a federal breath alcohol screening certification and federal drug screening certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
