We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality x-ray images of patients, positioning and instructing patients regarding x-ray procedures, and maintaining patient information and imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Produce x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist, ensuring clear and undistorted films.
- Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain patient information, including purging or updating patient film jackets and/or filing reports or film files.
- Maintain imaging and processing equipment, performing scheduled cleanings and tests, and documenting results.
- Contact service personnel and notify supervision of malfunctioning equipment.
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- Successful completion of an approved radiological training program and the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required.
- Current license/certification in the state of practice, required.
- Possess a current Basic Life Support Certification, or obtain certification within one month of employment, required.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a setting serving the same age/type of patient population served by this facility or department, preferred.
- Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, Walking
This position is located at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
