Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body, performing x-ray therapy on patients, and explaining procedures to patients and addressing their concerns.
Key Responsibilities- Operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body
- Perform x-ray therapy on patients
- Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns
- Maintain expert technical and patient-care skills
- Provide quality diagnostic results
- Completion of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology training program
- Current certification by ARRT
- Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
