Position Overview

RQ Construction, LLC. has established itself as a prominent entity in the commercial and governmental Design-Build sector since its inception. Our operations extend across the nation, including significant projects at various military installations.

We are seeking candidates for the role of Mechanical Construction Supervisor to join our Field Operations team. The Mechanical Construction Supervisor will oversee daily activities, providing leadership and coordination for assigned construction teams, particularly in mechanical installations, ensuring that all work is executed safely and meets quality standards.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or GED is the minimum educational requirement.
  • At least five years of experience in a supervisory role, specifically managing mechanical teams, including responsibilities such as scheduling, procurement, site supervision, quality assurance, safety management, and overseeing various construction phases across multiple trades.
  • Three or more years of relevant field or trade experience in the construction sector is highly desirable, with a preference for candidates with government, military, or large-scale commercial construction backgrounds.
  • Possession of current welding certifications is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, is required.
  • Familiarity with specific software tools such as Viewpoint or RMS/QCS is preferred.
  • Certifications in CPR and First Aid are mandatory; OSHA 30-hour training, EM-385, and STS certifications are preferred, with training available for those who need it.
