We excel in managing fast-track projects in new commercial construction, primarily serving public and private clients, with a strong emphasis on the Department of Defense market.

Position Summary: We are seeking several skilled Mechanical and Piping Insulators to enhance our self-performing team for ongoing projects. All tasks will be conducted on a military installation, and compensation will align with the mandated Davis-Bacon prevailing wage specific to the military base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application of insulating materials to ductwork and other mechanical systems to regulate and maintain temperature effectively.
  • Utilization of technical mechanical principles to ensure quality and safety in all operations.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and practices in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D., supplemented by completion of a relevant apprenticeship program (Union, private, military, or trade school).
  • At least 4 years of field or trade experience as a journey-level mechanical piping insulator, preferably in commercial, industrial, or facilities operations settings; experience in government or military construction is advantageous.
