Position Overview

RQC, LLC, a prominent entity in the realm of commercial and governmental Design-Build projects, is seeking a qualified Piping Insulation Supervisor to lead our dedicated team. Our organization has established a significant presence across the nation, managing diverse projects that encompass various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations and management of insulation teams, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and meet the project specifications.
  • Guarantee that the insulation crew delivers high-quality work in alignment with project timelines and industry standards.
  • Facilitate the fabrication and installation of duct systems, air distribution components, and HVAC machinery on active construction sites, adhering to relevant codes and regulations.
  • Implement safety protocols and best practices to uphold the mission and values of RQC, LLC.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
  • Preferred educational background includes coursework in HVAC Technologies, construction management, or engineering technology.
  • At least two years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • A minimum of four years of field or trade experience as a mechanical insulator in commercial or industrial settings is essential; experience in government or large-scale construction is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in computer applications is necessary.
  • Certifications in CPR/First Aid and OSHA-30 are required.
  • EM-385 and STS certifications are mandatory; training can be provided.
