Job Overview

Our focus is on expedited projects in new commercial construction, particularly within the Department of Defense sector.

Position Summary: We are seeking multiple Mechanical and Piping Insulators to enhance our self-performing workforce for ongoing projects. The work will be conducted on military installations, adhering to the Davis-Bacon prevailing wage standards applicable to these sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply insulating materials to ductwork and other mechanical systems to regulate and maintain temperature effectively.
  • Utilize technical knowledge of mechanical principles in the execution of insulation tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational standards in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage

Benefits Package: Includes Medical, Dental, Vision, and a 401k plan with matching contributions.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D., supplemented by completion of a relevant apprenticeship program.
  • At least 4 years of field or trade experience as a journey-level mechanical piping insulator, preferably in commercial, industrial, or governmental construction environments.
