We excel in managing fast-track projects in new commercial construction, primarily serving public and private clients, with a strong emphasis on the Department of Defense market.

Position Summary: We are seeking multiple Mechanical and Piping Insulators to enhance our self-performing workforce for ongoing assignments. All tasks will be conducted on a military installation, with compensation aligned with the Davis-Bacon prevailing wage specific to the military base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply insulating materials to ductwork and other mechanical systems to regulate and maintain temperature effectively.
  • Utilize technical knowledge of mechanical principles to execute insulation tasks.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and operational guidelines in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage

Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, and a 401k plan with matching contributions.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D., supplemented by completion of a relevant apprenticeship program.
  • At least 4 years of field or trade experience as a journey-level mechanical piping insulator, preferably in commercial, industrial, or facilities operations, with government or military experience being advantageous.
