This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both associates and customers in our retail stores. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in loss prevention and security, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a Safe and Secure Environment:
    • Understand and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
    • Monitor store entrances, exits, and sales floor for potential safety issues.
    • Remove clutter and ensure safe, clear egress to emergency exits.
  • Developing Great Teams and Partnerships:
    • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a friendly and courteous manner.
    • Treat all customers and associates with respect and professionalism.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Mitigating Theft and Fraud:
    • Monitor store entrances, exits, and sales floor for potential theft by identifying suspicious behavior.
    • Gather theft indicators and use internal or external intelligence to impact shortage trends.
    • Communicate effectively with store leadership and loss prevention leadership.
  • Minimizing Operational Shortage:
    • Identify and implement effective processes to minimize operational shortage.
    • Train and educate associates on shortage reduction initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school education or equivalent required, AA degree preferred.
  • Experience: One year of retail supervisor experience or similar training is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the store team.
Working Conditions:
  • Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store.
  • Must be able to raise or lower objects more than 25 lbs., from one level to another (includes upward pulling).
