The Maintenance Supervisor is a key position within our organization, responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance activities during the 3rd shift. This role requires a strong leader who can foster a reliability-driven approach and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and direction to a team of industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance technicians, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Maintenance Planning and Execution: Collaborate with Maintenance Planners to scope corrective work orders, manage and develop weekly schedules for shift technicians, and prioritize emergency tasks as they arise.
- Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Track, analyze, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as safety, asset utilization, maintenance costs, PM compliance, and schedule adherence.
- Team Development and Engagement: Evaluate team member performance, encourage continuous improvement, and build strong relationships with hourly team members, union representatives, and management.
- Education and Experience: An associate degree in Engineering, Electro-Mechanical, or Business Management is preferred, though significant experience and specialized training may be acceptable in lieu of a degree. A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a skilled role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader position.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent organizational and leadership skills, strong teaming and communication skills, both written and verbal, self-motivated and capable of inspiring a team, proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively.
- Competitive Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
