Role Summary

As a Senior Wireless Connectivity Engineer at Apple, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and excellence in wireless connectivity and performance. Our team is responsible for creating and integrating technologies that enrich people's lives and deliver the best user experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement performance benchmarking and characterization of new connectivity features
  • Improve Wi-Fi system performance on Apple platforms
  • Measure and analyze both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth system performance for various coexistence driven scenarios
  • Build lab setups to simulate different system conditions
  • Work on scripts and tools that aid in analysis
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP suite of protocols
  • Knowledge of MAC/PHY protocol with 8+ years relevant industry experience
  • Tools experience - iPerf, Ixia, Wireshark
  • Ability to debug and analyze issues by examining different layers of the protocol stack
  • Understanding of the impact of interference on Wi-Fi and BT performance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Python scripting experience
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and clearly communicate while driving multiple projects across many teams
