Role Overview

As a Wireless Stability Engineer, Cellular at Apple, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and patenting the next generation of our state-of-the-art connectivity technologies. You will collaborate across departments to craft wireless solutions that elevate the customer experience with Apple products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute system overall stability tests on Apple products.
  • Work with platform architecture, standardization, firmware/protocol development, system test & carrier engineering teams to drive improvement proposals and baseband optimizations.
  • Hands-on experience with testing cellular technologies such as 5G NR FR1 and mmW, LTE, IMS etc.
  • Deep understanding of Cellular Protocol stack, SQA methodologies & practices.

Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with testing cellular technologies such as 5G NR FR1 and mmW, LTE, IMS etc.
  • Deep understanding of Cellular Protocol stack, SQA methodologies & practices.
  • Automation experience and knowledge of modern scripting or compiled languages (Python, Obj-C, Swift).
  • Outstanding communication skills vital to collaborate with multi-functional teams.
  • Analytical, methodical, and creative problem solver committed to driving quality forward.

Education & Experience
Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science, Electrical engineering, or equivalent. Base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
