About the Role

The Director of Business Development will play a key role in driving growth and expansion for SCA Health's Ambulatory Surgical Center network. This position will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategic growth plans to increase case volume and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis of physicians in assigned geography to identify and assess potential growth opportunities.
  • Develop and effectively communicate value proposition to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Development leadership, Operations, and facility leadership to create and execute strategic growth plans.
  • Cultivate key stakeholder relationships both internal and external.
  • Understand, collaborate, and influence which cases can be migrated to SCA facilities from hospital or competing ASC.
  • Identify opportunities to implement or grow new service lines in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Canvase market for physicians to recruit, credential and on-board into the surgery centers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 Year Minimum Experience in Healthcare with Proven Track Record in Business Development or Sales Related Role
  • Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) experience Preferred
