We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of People Services. This key role will be responsible for formulating and recommending program goals and objectives in all areas of co-worker relations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the co-worker relations area of the personnel program to improve co-worker relations.
- Identify staffing and recruiting needs and develop best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
- Supervise and provide direction to subordinate staff engaged in developing and administering recruitment and selection procedures and personnel policies and procedures.
- Investigate problems such as working conditions, disciplinary actions, and employee and applicant appeals and grievances.
- Prepare and present required and special reports.
- Evaluate or review evaluations of performance on all co-workers and recommend hiring, promotion, termination, disciplinary, and commendatory actions.
- Direct recruitment activities, including advertising mediums and outreach recruitment.
- Provide high-level communication and training to director and manager level associates regarding human resources policies, procedures, and practices.
- Must possess considerable knowledge of co-worker relations, the principles, practices, and procedures of Human Resource Management.
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business or Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or a closely related field.
- Must possess strong knowledge of laws and regulations relating to Human Resources.
- SHRM Certified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR), preferred.
- Master's degree, preferred.
