About the Role

The Human Resources Coordinator will provide support for Associate Services and employee relations functions at The Omni Homestead. This role is responsible for managing data entry, championing company culture, and serving as a liaison for associates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all data entry into the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Champion Omni Six Pillars Culture on property and promote opportunities within the hotel and company.
  • Act as liaison for all associates, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Participate in stand-up meetings with managers and assist with the development of associate communication networks.
  • Assist with planning and execution of associate events and participate in orientation presentations.
  • Organize training programs and maintain tracking logs, ensuring compliance with safety training requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including answering phones, handling inquiries, and completing memos and correspondence.

Specific Functions

  • Welcome interviewees to the property and provide timely communication on how the recruiting team should proceed.
  • Ensure all paperwork is properly signed and documented, including preparing orientation packets and notifying candidates and managers of orientation schedules.
  • Enter all employee information into Ultipro accurately and timely for payroll purposes and seniority for benefits eligibility.
  • Route Direct Deposit or Pay Card Information and initiate and complete I-9 verification through HireTech.
  • Organize employee documentation into appropriate files and binders, and assist associates with Ultipro questions and office computer use.

Requirements

  • Must be flexible with schedule to include some weekends.
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Products.
  • Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coach, counsel, advise, mentor, and motivate associates and managers at all levels.
  • Two years of Human Resource experience or equivalent required.

Working Environment

The Human Resources Coordinator will work in an office environment with frequent travel around the property.
