About the Job

At All-N-1 Staffing, we are seeking a highly skilled Director of People Services to join our team. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve co-worker relations and create a family-friendly work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Formulate and recommend program goals and objectives in all areas of co-worker relations.
  2. Develop, implement, and administer the co-worker relations area of the personnel program to improve co-worker relations.
  3. Develop an organizational focus on creating a family-friendly environment.
  4. Identify staffing and recruiting needs and develop best practices for hiring and talent management.
  5. Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  6. Supervise and provide direction to subordinate staff engaged in developing and administering recruitment and selection procedures and personnel policies and procedures.
  7. Investigate problems such as working conditions, disciplinary actions, and employee and applicant appeals and grievances, and provide guidance and recommendations for problem resolution.
  8. Prepare and present required and special reports.
  9. Develop and present the operating budget for the Human Resources Department and ensure that all functions operate within appropriated amounts.
  10. Evaluate or review evaluations of performance on all co-workers and recommend hiring, promotion, termination, disciplinary, and commendatory actions.
  11. Supervise and direct onboarding of new employees, including determination of eligibility for hire and general orientation process for all new employees.
  12. Direct recruitment activities, including advertising mediums and outreach recruitment in conjunction with Nursing Administration and Ancillary Department Leaders as needed.
  13. Provide high-level communication and training to director and manager level associates regarding human resources policies, procedures, and practices.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess considerable knowledge of co-worker relations, human resource management principles, practices, and procedures. A graduate degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, public administration, human resource management, or a closely related field is required. The candidate must also possess strong knowledge of the law and regulations relating to human resources. SHRM Certified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR) certification is a plus, and a master's degree is preferred.
