About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Insurance and Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at Miami Gastroenterology Consultants.

This part-time role requires a professional with a strong background in insurance verification, medical records management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify insurance coverage for patients and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Process medical records requests and send H&P reports to facilities.
  • Manage and maintain medical records and filing systems.
  • Perform general office duties, including emailing, faxing, and scanning documents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and staff.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in computer programs and technology.
  • Ability to multitask and work under stressful situations.
  • A drug-free environment is mandatory.
