Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Billings Clinic. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team by monitoring the sterile field and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of surgical equipment and supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are available and in good working order.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that all patients receive high-quality care and that all surgical procedures are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and surgical outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation and the ability to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
