Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Billings Clinic. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Anticipate and respond to the needs of surgeons and other team members during surgical procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field, ensuring the highest level of patient safety.
  • Assist in the maintenance of equipment, supplies, and instruments, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Identify potential complications and respond accordingly, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a surgical setting, preferably in a hospital or clinic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and patient care principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification by the Liaison Council for the Surgical Technologist (LCC-ST) is highly desirable.
