About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Billings Clinic. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments and equipment with precision.
  • Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, identifying areas for growth and implementing strategies to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent.
  • Certification by the Liaison Council for the Surgical Technologist (LCC-ST) or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
