About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to join our Public Sector Sales team at Granicus. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving new revenue growth and expanding our presence in the government technology market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in state and local government agencies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product, to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and deliver customized presentations and proposals to showcase the value of Granicus' solutions
  • Manage and close sales opportunities, from prospecting to contract negotiation
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments to identify new sales opportunities and stay ahead of the competition
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in public sector sales, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and expanding market share
  • Strong understanding of government technology and the needs of state and local government agencies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities
