Job Summary

The Traffic and Portfolio Manager is a key role within Sonic Automotive, responsible for driving business growth and success. This position plays a critical part in ensuring the company's Traffic Management Playbook is executed to perfection, while also overseeing in-store structure, Sonic Brand KPI performance, and dealership and brand retention/loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with dealership teammates and the Brand Traffic Management Director to identify areas of strength and opportunity in Traffic Management, in-store structure, Sonic Brand KPI performance, and dealership and brand retention/loyalty.
  • Assist stores in executing strategies to increase overall Traffic Management performance, dealership sales, profitability, and brand retention/loyalty results.
  • Work closely with other management personnel in the dealership, focusing on New and Used Vehicle Operations, to provide a comprehensive analysis and well-rounded resource to assigned departments.
  • Oversee individuals at the store level responsible for retaining previous customers and report directly to the General Manager in alignment with the Traffic Management Director.
