The Walsh Group is seeking a skilled Traffic Control Specialist to join our team for the 183 North Mobility Project in Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and manage traffic flow around construction sites to ensure public and employee safety.
- Oversee the proper installation, placement, and removal of traffic control materials.
- Maintain and replenish traffic control supplies as needed.
- Ensure flag persons are properly trained and equipped for duty.
- 3-5 years of verifiable experience in traffic control or a related field.
- Certification in Work Zone Traffic Control may be required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in adverse weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for extended periods.
