JOB SUMMARY
The Ticket Sales Associate plays a vital role in supporting all ticketing operations and enhancing guest experiences. This position reports directly to the Box Office Manager and works closely with Box Office Coordinators.

This is a part-time role that requires adaptability in scheduling, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as events may occur outside of standard hours.


RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Facilitate ticket sales to patrons on both event and non-event days.

2. Assist with day-of-event tasks, including ticket scanner setup, will call, and VIP ticket distribution, as well as addressing artist and promoter requirements.

3. Manage ticket orders for internal, external, and group requests.

4. Scan tickets (digital and physical) for venue access, guide patrons to appropriate lines and gates, and assist with seating arrangements.

5. Greet guests and provide information regarding upcoming events and venue regulations.

6. Support event preparations as needed.

7. Address customer inquiries and concerns through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and email communications.

8. Respond promptly to special requests from the Box Office Manager and Coordinators.

9. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized box office environment.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS + PREREQUISITES
1. Strong customer service skills are essential.

2. Familiarity with amphitheaters or live events is advantageous.

3. Previous ticketing experience is preferred (AXS is the platform used).

4. Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.

5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

6. The ideal candidate will demonstrate decisiveness, persuasiveness, and initiative.

7. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills are required.

8. Attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to manage complex issues with minimal supervision are crucial.

9. A friendly demeanor, sense of humor, and passion for music are desirable traits.

10. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.

11. Capability to lift and carry 20+ pounds.
