POSITION SUMMARY

The Box Office Assistant plays a crucial role in facilitating all ticketing operations and ensuring exceptional guest service. This role is under the direct supervision of the Box Office Manager and the Box Office Coordinators. The position requires a flexible schedule, including availability on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as events frequently occur outside standard business hours.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process ticket sales for patrons on both event and non-event days.
  • Assist with on-site event tasks, including ticket scanning setup, will call, and distribution of tickets for VIPs or guest lists.
  • Manage ticket orders from internal, external, and group sources.
  • Verify and scan patrons' digital or physical tickets for venue access, directing them to the appropriate entry points and seating areas.
  • Welcome guests and provide comprehensive information regarding upcoming events and venue regulations.
  • Support event preparations and logistics.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and email communications.
  • Respond promptly to special requests from the Box Office Manager and Coordinators.
  • Maintain a secure, tidy, and organized box office environment.

  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
