Position Overview

As a key member of our accounting team at LorchGreene LLP, you will engage in a variety of accounting tasks under the guidance of a senior manager or partner. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute diverse accounting functions while adhering to established deadlines and client expectations.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Manage project budgets effectively, assisting team members in prioritizing their responsibilities.
  • Contribute to the planning and scheduling of client engagements to optimize workflow.
  • Support business valuation assessments and conduct thorough research.
  • Analyze financial statements and complex transactions to complete various projects.
  • Oversee and mentor junior team members, reviewing their work for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare correspondence for client approval, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Draft comprehensive reports, including necessary footnotes.
  • Perform a wide range of accounting tasks to minimize the need for direct oversight from management.
Qualifications
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Self-motivated with a focus on results and hands-on engagement.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and a commitment to ethical practices.
  • A strong aspiration to advance in the field of Forensic Accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related financial discipline.
  • Up to 3-5 years of relevant experience in an office setting.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Word, Excel, Quicken, and QuickBooks.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, research, and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly rate of $22-24, depending on experience.
  • Accrued paid time off (13 days annually).
