The successful candidate will play a key role in the month-end closing activities, managing accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute month-end closing procedures, which include preparing and reviewing journal entries and conducting monthly account reconciliations.
  • Maintain the general ledger by verifying, posting, and reconciling transactions, including inter-company account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and generate various reports to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Support annual audits and examinations by preparing necessary schedules and documentation.
  • Provide assistance in the accounts receivable process, including drafting and processing customer invoices.
  • Collaborate with the corporate accounting team on revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
  • Work alongside the fixed asset accountant to manage asset additions, disposals, and tracking of assets under construction.
  • Help prepare and upload travel and expense related journal entries.
  • Undertake ad-hoc accounting tasks as required to support the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and financial processes such as budgeting and reporting.
  • Professional certification, such as CPA, is preferred.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems and reporting tools is advantageous.
