Senior Field Service Engineer

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Senior Field Service Engineer to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality field service solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead site deliverables for customers, maintaining a schedule and documenting changes in scope.
  • Interface with product engineering teams for project scope, system sequence of operation, and field modifications.
  • Complete project and daily reports, including short-duration safety plans, field service reports, redlines, and method of procedure.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and maintain a high level of technical expertise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of field commissioning experience as a site lead engineer, or a combination of work experience and education.
  • Field experience and technical training can be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming and interface to paralleling switchgear design.
  • Knowledge of power delivery equipment and paralleling switchgear operations, with a focus on data center and healthcare applications.
  • Ability to interpret Protective Relay settings and understand system one lines, power three lines, and equipment control and layout drawings.
