Lead Manufacturing Engineer Vehicle Design

The Lead Manufacturing Engineer will oversee and guide the manufacturing engineering team, focusing on designing, implementing, and refining manufacturing processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Process Optimization: Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Continuously assess and optimize production workflows.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure team alignment with production goals.
- Project Management: Manage manufacturing projects from conception through to completion. Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and budget adherence.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed industry standards and specifications. Address quality issues and drive corrective actions.
- Equipment and Tools: Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and tools. Ensure that equipment is properly calibrated and functioning optimally.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes with product designs and requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, procedures, and performance metrics. Provide regular reports to senior management on manufacturing performance and project status.
