Role Overview:
The Patient Services Associate I plays a vital role in enhancing the patient experience by efficiently managing arrival and departure processes for patients visiting our facilities. This position primarily operates at the front desk of outpatient practices, ensuring that patients receive prompt and courteous service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate patient check-in and check-out processes, including point-of-service activities and appointment scheduling through our electronic health record system.
- Provide a warm and professional greeting to patients and visitors, whether in person or over the phone.
- Maintain a smooth operational flow within the practice, addressing any patient or provider concerns as necessary.
- Comply with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and ensure adherence to all relevant healthcare standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall functioning of the practice.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: Previous experience in customer service or a patient-facing role within healthcare is preferred.
Additional Information:
