Compounder (2nd or 3rd Shift) Job Summary

Atrium Staffing is seeking a skilled Compounder to join our client's team in the flavor and fragrance industry. As a Compounder, you will be responsible for the precise mixing and compounding of flavor ingredients according to specified formulas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heating and cooling systems to achieve the desired consistency and quality of batches
  • Inspect raw materials for correct color, odor, and quality, and report any discrepancies to the supervisor and Quality Control (QC)
  • Process samples and maintain proper documentation for quality checks
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations at all times
  • Demonstrate expertise in compounding formulas, making precise adjustments, and handling both liquid and solid materials
  • Utilize automated systems for batching and barcoding
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in compounding
  • Proficient in basic math skills
  • Familiarity with computer systems used for batching
  • Experience with dispensing, batch-processing, and operating automated dosing systems
  • Ability to meet production volume standards and schedules while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Capable of multitasking and following instructions with minimal supervision
