Role Overview:
The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping major operational and strategic decisions within the organization, embodying its core values.

The primary responsibility of the Operations Manager is to ensure the efficient functioning of SafeCare's operations in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations to guarantee optimal efficiency and effectiveness of SafeCare programs and products provided to public and private partners.
  • Support the SafeCare Director in formulating strategic goals and objectives.
  • Implement, assess, and refine performance outcomes aligned with SafeCare's Strategic Plan, particularly concerning license partners and PharmAccess initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate performance metrics for SafeCare and prepare monthly reports for the SafeCare Director.
  • Foster a workplace culture focused on purpose and results, ensuring collaborative, strategic, and values-driven decision-making.

Operational Management:
Develop and oversee annual work plans in collaboration with relevant managers and license partners. Coordinate activities such as technical assistance, assessments, audits, and training.

Ensure high standards of quality and satisfaction for both internal and external clients.

Program Planning and Evaluation:
Translate approved projects into actionable operational plans, regularly review departmental KPIs, and utilize tracking systems to monitor performance.

Facilitate review meetings to share achievements and plan future activities.

License Management:
Coordinate training for license partners and ensure the development of effective business strategies to enhance clinical and business outcomes.

Business Development:
Collaborate with the SafeCare Director to identify new business opportunities and support partners in developing high-quality proposals.

Budget Management:
Ensure accurate monitoring of SafeCare's budgets and compliance with financial requirements.

Collaboration:
Work closely with various teams to ensure effective support and guidance for the program.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a relevant health-related degree with a minimum of 8 years of proven experience, alongside excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, alongside proficiency in project management and financial oversight, are essential.
