Front Desk Dermatology Coordinator

At OnSpot Dermatology, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist/Call Center Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for creating a positive patient experience from the moment they arrive at our practice.
About the Role:
This is a part-time opportunity that requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organizational abilities. You will be working closely with patients, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient administrative processes.
Responsibilities:
* Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, checking them in and out efficiently * Obtain and enter accurate demographic information for each patient * Gather and input correct insurance information, ensuring seamless billing and payment processes * Process patient payments (co-pays, self-pay charges, and purchased products) * Facilitate patient flow, identifying and communicating any delays or issues * Answer telephone calls promptly and politely, responding to voicemails in a timely manner * Schedule or reschedule appointments for new and existing patients in person and over the phone
Qualifications:
* Minimum one year of experience in a medical office environment * Minimum one year of front desk dermatology experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a customer service setting * Proficient in using computers and software programs * Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information * Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively * Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills
