Job Title: Dermatology Call Center Representative

We are seeking a skilled and professional Call Center Representative to join our team at Dermatology Solutions Group, LLC.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, answering multiple phone calls, scheduling appointments, and verifying patient insurance information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer multiple phone lines for all satellite locations and greet patients in a timely and polite manner.
  • Identify patients by asking for their date of birth and/or name in the computer system and create new accounts or update established ones.
  • Verify insurance eligibility, financial status, and assign the correct payer type.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal and financial information and follow HIPAA regulations.
  • Schedule 'New' and 'Established' patient appointments for all locations and communicate with patients, internal, and external customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage high-volume tasks, such as distributing incoming faxes, scanning documents into patient charts, and calling 'NO SHOW' appointments to reschedule.
  • Cross-train to cover the Front Desk: Patient Service Representative role, as needed.

Requirements:

  • A high school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • One year of medical experience working in a physician's office or an equivalent combination of training and experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating a computer keyboard (30 WPM minimum) and ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office Products.
  • The ability to multitask in a high-paced work environment and adapt daily to numerous changes in scheduling procedures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Compensation:

Based on industry standards and location, we offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also provide opportunities for career growth and professional development within our organization.
