Job Title: Cyber Communications Specialist

Job Summary:
TechGuard Security is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Public Affairs team, you will be responsible for leading efforts in planning and implementing a comprehensive public affairs program for the Cyber National Mission Force. Your primary focus will be on coordinating efforts to inform the public, including other agencies, organizations, and Command personnel, through effective written and oral communications. You will also be responsible for writing, editing, and preparing information for release to the media, specialized groups, and the general public. Additionally, you will exhibit thorough knowledge of and application of a wide range of oral, written, social, visual communications concepts, principles, policies, practices, methods, applications, techniques, standards, and trends. You will also coordinate CNMF leadership communications across subordinate J-Directorates and the Executive Aide Staff to ensure the intent, messages, and themes for CNMF are synchronized, harmonized, clear, and consistent. The goal is to have command communications with one voice. You will perform other ad hoc public affairs tasks in execution of Command Team cyber mission priorities as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead efforts in planning and implementing a comprehensive public affairs program for the Cyber National Mission Force.
  • Coordinate efforts to inform the public, including other agencies, organizations, and Command personnel.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a DOD Public Affairs Specialist.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Understands Cyber Mission and grasps implications of policy and operations in cyberspace.
  • Prior public affairs experience in support of senior command.
  • Experience in fast-paced environment directly supporting the senior leadership of an organization.
  • Demonstrated maturity in communications, professional in manner.
  • Possesses judgment and discretion handling sensitive information and need to know.
  • Demonstrated initiative in executing past roles and responsibilities.
  • Highly organized, flexible with tasking, and has strong ability to multitask.

Clearance Requirements:
TS/SCI with CI Poly level security clearance required.
