Position: Pharmacy Technician

Role Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and skilled pharmacy technician to support our pharmacists in delivering high-quality medication management and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the precise preparation and dispensing of medications.
  • Carry out technical and administrative tasks related to medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing, including sterile admixtures.
  • Manage pharmacy quality control processes, maintain accurate pharmacy records, oversee inventory management, and prepare drug orders.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.

Essential Qualifications:

· High school diploma with completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program.

· Familiarity with basic pharmaceutical terminology, calculations, drug applications, and aseptic procedures.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

· Reliable attendance and job performance.

Work Environment:

· Primarily office and pharmacy settings.

· Potential for occasional community travel.

· Participation in community outreach and educational presentations may be required.

· Flexible working hours beyond standard business hours.

Physical Requirements:

· Near visual acuity is necessary.

· Ability to measure and mix medications in confined spaces.

· Lifting may be required for stocking and receiving medications.

· Proficiency in data entry on a keyboard is essential.
