Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Produce Associate Team Leader to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of produce associates, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of produce associates, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer needs and questions, and maintaining a positive and welcoming store environment.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain advanced product knowledge, including new products and promotions, to provide customers with expert advice and recommendations.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking produce products.
  • Store Operations: Participate in store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: 18+ months retail team member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills. Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day, and work in a wet and cold environment.
