The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that daily production objectives are achieved to support long-term strategic goals. This role involves organizing and overseeing the manufacturing workflow to ensure a seamless and efficient operation while upholding the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee operations to maximize output
  • Develop and organize training materials for the production workforce
  • Lead by example, establish expectations, and supervise team activities
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations
  • Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks to achieve production targets
  • Enhance operational efficiency
  • Manage the flow of raw materials and resources
  • Report on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Optimize production capabilities
  • Monitor and report on project and resource needs
  • Achieve quality benchmarks
  • Train production personnel on documentation, processes, and procedures
  • Draft and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, Forms, and Quality Management Systems
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and policies
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to address customer complaints, internal discrepancies, and quality enhancements
  • Ensure accurate Bill of Materials in ERP systems
  • Minimize consumables and scrap rates due to vendor-related issues
  • Participate in the technology transfer of products from Product Development to production
  • Allocate resources for Product Development as necessary

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or a related field
    or a minimum of 2 years of additional relevant work experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to safely lift over 50 lbs
  • Strong company-centric mindset.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
